Bar codes are printed on the Route Sheets and other documents for use with our Barcode Time/Job Tracking Plug-in. Jobs being run together can be combined on a single route sheet. Well, you get the idea. Accurate Detailed Route Sheets (Travelers) are a key to insuring the smooth progression of a part through your shop floor. They are also a key to accurate job costing. The route sheet system is fully integrated with all the data that effects it. An example is a completed time entry: When time entries are posted, the appropriate route sheets are immediately updated with the actual times and completed and rejected part quantities. Facility, Gage and Equipment Maintenance Schedule Log maintenance on important equipment or grounds. Process times and material quantities are adjusted according to the the new order quantity. If you change a route sheet the system will automatically use the changed route sheet for subsequent orders of this part number. Define off days, vacation dates, plant shut down dates, etc. Use alternate work centers A default priority ranking is set for each job, however, you can change the priority on any job you wish. See the effect a new job may have on your schedule through the 'What if' scheduling feature. Work center reports After scheduling, each work center can have a report of jobs coming to it on the new schedule. Job Tracking (at a glance) You can see where any job is in the shop in real time. Production control report This report gives you valuable information about your schedule. Job Costing and Profit Analysis Compute the cost of a job at any time. The constant availability of this data can 'spotlight' potential problems giving you the ability to make any corrective actions needed. Compute the costs of 'time and material' jobs. Move the profit percent up or down till you are satisfied with the number. When you are done, the system will place this price in the correct place for invoicing. Enter start, stop, and lunch times (if a fixed lunch time is not chosen) and let the system compute the total hours worked, or simply enter the total hours worked. BizKwik instantly computes run times, labor costs, and updates the route sheets with the completed times and quantities. List all dimensions, tolerances, and print locations for all inspection items. Inspection sheets can be printed from the inspection menu, as well as, route sheet printing. Make a list of features you want to inspect on any parts you make. Select the feature you are inspecting from a pick list of features, enter the actual reading, the nominal, the tolerance, and the employee number of the inspector. Print or view inspection reports.
